I mounted 2 of these bags on the engine crash bars of my BMW 1250GSA and used them on a 10,000 km trip through the USA. The bags are extremely durable and waterproof. They survived a tip-over of the bike, with no damage to the contents or the bags.
I did use tye wraps, as an extra level of security when mounting them to my bars and the Lone Rider Panniers, as a means of theft protection and mounting security.
I recommend these bags, they are of great quality and will last you a lifetime.

Am a bit of a lone Rider fan as I love the bomb proof practicality of their products. I use two of these on my front upper crash bars for those things that I want to carry, pretty much forget about, but then have them there when I need them. Mine carry my tyre pressure gauge, spare gloves, zip ties, first aid kit, torch, micro cloth, waterproof over gloves, electrical tape and a few other bits and bobs.
Bomb proof, 100% waterproof. What’s not to like!!

Bags are very well made and the perfect size on my 1200 Adventure. I highly recommended them. My only improvement suggestion it would be nice to have adjustable tabs on roll top closure buckles to accommodate for different volumes.

I love these things, they are great for long distance trips. They are attached to my crash bars and hold a lot of stuff. If you do any trips longer than a day do yourself a favor and get a couple of these.

I'll say at the outset that I'm no particular fan of softbags. I have a full set of Bumot hard cases mounted on my OEM racks and I'm crazy about them. That said, I don't mind a touch of softbags for accessorial applications and that's why I ordered these 6 ltr bags. I was expecting quality bags and LR delivered on that point. Where they fell down are the manner in which they attach to the crash bars--and worse, the way in which YOU have to figure that mess out. Couple of points: 1) they include four straps with fasteners for each bag, but include no instructions showing how to attach the straps to the bags. You can figure it out but it's frustrating and very fiddly. Next point 2) near as I can tell, the photos on this page show the bags mounted to aftermarket crash bars (meaning the bike shown is a GS, not a GSA). The bags do not mount as shown on my GSA with OEM crashbars and buddy, they are a chore to mount! Working behind the bags and between the bars and bodywork trying to fish the straps in and around the tight spaces takes waaaaaay longer than it should. So--yes the bags are nice, yes they work as advertised, but they fail in the way their generic mounting system works. Considering the engineering videos we've watched on LR's Youtube channel, I know they could do better. Mean time, I'll leave mine on and dread the day I have to take them off and reinstall them!

I took this picture after a 500 mile ride in the dirt. These bags are amazing. 1st riding sand and dirt they added an extra layer of protection to my moto. 2nd I was able to put all of my tools and first aid in my 2L front bags, leaving my main luggage free for camping gear and clothes. 5 Star, would highly recommend

I had the previous version of the 6L bags and loved them...absolutely watertight in the worst rainstorms, dropping the bike in deep puddles, creek crossings, etc.!
After some rather challenging and awesome trip this last June on the NEBDR I managed to rip one of them off and it was irreparable.
The new V2 bags are even better. I like the mounting/strapping method much better for my R1250GSA on the crash bards.
I have the MotoBags, Ranger Mini Tank Bag as well, and all are of exceptional quality and VERY tough.
LR support has been absolutely excellent.

I like it because I can get my water bottle into it, I have a bag for a water bottle but it is way too small for the water I am to drink. Even big enough for some carnivore snacks.

Great to have on my Norden 901. I can install them on my crash bars to carry tools and other quick-access items or I can add them to my bags or alone on the rack for day trips when I have a top box. Looking forward to more trips with them.

These are extremely useful for quick access items. In addition they are mounted to my crash bars and have helped prevent any damage to my bike when I have dropped it. Also they still show no evidence of wear. They make for easy weight distribution of which has assisted in better handling of the bike especially when traveling long distance with a full load out on the bike,

Installed 2 of these water tight bags on my upper engine guards on my 1250GSA. One side holds my First Aid kit the other spare gloves, maps, bike lock, etc... Not a bag to take off every night but they are solid and 100% waterproof. I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase of these bags.

There was a buckle on one of the mini bags which hadn't been sewn during the manufacturing process. Lonerider were really quick at resolving the issue, by sending me a new one without any fuss.
My only gripe is that there are no paper instructions showing you exactly how it is recommended that you should attach the mini bags. The YouTube video is extremely vague about how the guy "actually" attaches them! I must have watched it 10 times before giving up! Saying that its "up to us" how to do it, isn't good enough.

Ready for long trips. One side is large enough for rain suit and extra glovers. The other side carries the bike cover. Very practical and v2 straps are really great.
