Love the 48ltr overlander bag! Perfect size for holding all my camping “stuff”. Attaches easily to the Black Dog helicopter pad I installed in place of the pillion seat on my 22 GSA. Even makes a great backrest. Bought a steelcore strap so I can lock it anto my bike to prevent theft. The two way air valve self destructed on a recent trip to Texas. I contacted Lone Rider and Anna was a big help. She ended up sending me a replacement bag because the air valve couldn’t be repaired. I’ve got the ADV tent also and love it. It’s been up and down well over 100 times and still like new. Lone Rider makes the best moto adventure equipment and really stands behind their products.
Chris C.
Fantastic bag!! All my camping gear fits inside. I was able to fit the moto tent, a cot, chair, sleeping bag, pillow, towels, sleeping pad, small lantern and a cook stove. Lived out of it for 55 days and 12500 miles on the trans America trail. The air valve broke and fell out about halfway through the trip. Still kept everything clean and dry. Had it replaced under warranty. Customer service is fantastic.

Excellent bag only complaint is map pouch that Velcro’s To the bag blew off on my first Trip. Dang it but it is a very nice high quality bag ! Good job!
Frank L.
This bag is so versatile. Has a ton of space and best of all my wife likes it. We use it mostly for her items. All my reviews of Lone Rider products end the same. There is no better motorcycle bags!
Bryan O.
Great quality and is a must have for the GS!
Christopher V.
Hell of a good bag, built the way you would expect it to be. Do you pay more than most of the competitors… yes, but what you get is a hell of a bag with all the accessories you need to use the bag that will last and last and last. Went above and beyond my expectations!
Robert L.
It’s light, tough, more useful than a large metal top case, it is extraordinarily well thought out. The bottom right is over my BMW GS Adv exhaust. It gets hot but doesn’t seem to hurt although it’s worrisome. BMW makes no large metal case and it costs nearly $1,500 to mount a Touratech metal case.
Spencer G.
The 48liter and 30 liter are stackable or put the 30 over the rear seat. It was hard to find out if you could fit a passenger with a 48 liter and the answer is yes on a gs1250. This baggage is top notch and highly recommended.
John S.
I first ordered a large 48 l that they accidentally sent the smaller bag.
When I called them they immediately sent the correct bag and then offered me a discount instead of sending the other one back.
I'm very happy that I decided to purchase both bags. This was a 1000 mile trip zigzagging around Arkansas hammock tent camping for four nights. We only had one bad weather day and of course everything stayed bone dry. I really like how the bags strap to my bike and also strap together. For me this was a very big purchase because I never spend this kind of money on luggage. I work out of town about 1 to 2 weeks a month and sometimes more and my old travel bag that is not waterproof finally bit the dust and blew out a couple of zippers but after 18 years of traveling I decided it was time to buy a bag that I could use on the motorcycle and on my daily out of town visits.
Nowadays having to stay in hotels it is nice to know that I have a bag that is not only waterproof but when sealed up I know there is no chance of a tag along bug coming home haha know what I mean.
The red interior sure makes it a lot easier to see things and I also bought the red bag accessories which also has helped by putting certain things in those I know I can reach in the bag and feel and not even have to look and know what I'm grabbing.
The water bladder actually worked perfect for my old Camelback and something else I did not have to purchase.
I say these bags lasting for many many years and I am so happy I purchased them. Of course as I was walking into my last hotel during my work and not motorcycling I had my 48 l on my back using the backpack straps and immediately a guy in the lobby must have been a motorcyclist and had to ask about the bags, so of course I had to show him the pictures of my Arkansas trip and also show him the bag.
They are well put together and so far after a thousand Mile motorcycle trip and 20-25 nights out of town working they just work.
A short outing I take the smaller one but mostly just take the 48.
Thank you lone rider for building a great go bag.
Alberto B.
Extraordinary materials very well done the best l ever had!
TOMOHIRO T.
very easy to use!
Daniel P.
The bag is large and durable and I would recommend it for any journey. Depending how much you pack, you can get away with nearly a week’s worth of clothing. I use this bag mostly as a commuter bag as I work out of town. It carries a change of clothes, workout clothes, small tub of weight lifting supplements, some snacks and a large iPad.This bag is almost too much for daily use. A slightly smaller bag, more square, with just a shoulder strap and shorter quick disconnect straps would be perfect! Your tail bag is too small and I don’t like tank bags.
Fred G.
Well made bag. I plan to use it on the back of a new Honda 125 trail the updated version of the old trail lady. We’re gonna do some touring.
Laurent A.
perfect for everyday use
Saxon P.
The season is still early where I live so I haven't used it on the bikes yet; however, I'm extremely impressed with the quality of the bag.
One suggestion would be to have handles available to carry the Overlander as a duffle bag rather than just a backpack.
We plan on using it on our BMW GS Adventure and Harley Street Glide for long tours.
Well done Lone Rider!
francois g.
Je suis plus que satisfait surtout de votre garantie merci beaucoup
Kevin G.
This is a great bag and serves my purpose beautifully. Will definitely get good use out of it.
James M.
We have only used the side bags so far, I can’t believe how much stuff we can fit it there. These bags are way beyond what I thought they were when I first saw them advertised. Totally impressed.
Qassim A.
The best or never
Love it
Paul M.
The bag is great. The attachments are difficult to deal with. The extra lengths of straps do not hold in the Velcro and then blow in the wind.
Nickolaus E.
I love this bag kinda wish that I got the bigger bag but it is perfect for everything that I need for almost every day trip. I will definitely get the pannier bags later! The build quality is awesome and the MOLLE webbing is perfect fit my medical kit! I love that I can access the bag with it attached to the bike! I haven’t had to test the waterproofing yet but I’m sure that it will hold up. I love the fact that you can quickly detach the bag and carry it like a backpack. I detach it daily for my job walking back and forth with my gear! I also love the patches that I can swap out and change when I want to!
charles k.
Hi charles here the bag is the 30L OverLander good quality should do the job.

I am on a 25,000 mile motorbike trip through Central and South America to bring awareness to a very misunderstood trait called HSP. High Sensing people, such as myself are kind, compassionate and very intuitive people. We process information deeply. As such, I chose the Long Rider bags for good reason. They are extremely durable, functional and cost affective. HSP's do not make rash decisions. I am extremely happy I choose your products for this adventure. You can find out more about my cause at www.thelivingadventurer.com,
Please, if you know of any Highly Sensitive People, tell them about me as I will be promoting your product as well on my site. Thank you
Jorge H.
Great quality. Great service. Will buy again
Oswaldo A.
It`s a great product, functional, practical and look very well in my bike, highly recommended!
The ratio cost benefit it´s excelent
PEDRO ALEJANDRO F.
the overlander is great product, eficient and very practical to hook!!
James C.
This was the best Christmas gift, the construction is solid and all seams are consistent and well made. The quality of this product was all that I expected and have no complaints. There were some issues shipping to Canada, when I contacted Anna, she advised that there is a Canadian warehouse being set up in the next months to bypass the challenges of shipping from the USA to Canada. Thank you for that. Now the best part, without me asking for any support Anna offered to cover the USA storage and Duty charges. (The shipment was delayed). Anna will get all my future business, please make the Moto pegs for a CB500X, you would get at least one sale.
Shezaan M.
Amazing All weather bag. Highly recommended.
Hadef A.
Not adapted to attach to a seat other than the driver's seat
Jacques D.
Finally got my Loneriders! love them. Winter is too long
Robin
Absolutely love the versatility of the overlander bag. It's built to last, and built to be user friendly in every way. It's noticeable that it's designed by, and for motorcyclists.
Fitted perfectly to my KTM 990 SMT!
Gregg B.
The 38L size holds a lot of gear and keeps it all dry. Fits securely on the back seat of the GSA. Included interior stiffener holds the bags shape and the beaver tail holds a hydration pack. Great stuff!
Ralph W.
Perfect fit for my 2018 Goldwing DCT Tour!
Leon P.
Great storage capacity and easy carry all
Mark D.
Excellent product. Very high quality.
Ola Morten I. L.
I use my overlander every day, for comuting and konger trips. It’s just amazing
Stephen T.
I purchased the 30 l overlander bag after seeing several positive reviews on U Tube. I am very impressed with the bag. It is robust and beautifully made. The fixing straps that secure the bag to the bike work extremely well making the bag very stable and secure. I have not used the bag on a trip yet but am very confident it will perform very well.
Enoch K.
Everything I expected and more! Quality and well made product that not only does what it’s supposed to do really well but also adds to the aesthetic of my GS 1200
Hugues C.
Upon unpacking, we find a high-end manufacturing quality and a feeling of robustness.
The Overlander 30L pack seems like a must-have for adventure and is packed with features, multiple storage pockets.
The semi-rigid bottom allows it to keep its shape. It has practical straps to carry it as a backpack. I really appreciated the valve to release the air... you had to think about it and Lone Rider thought about it.
I hope this bag will last a very long time, and will follow me on my road trips... I'm sure of it.
I am pleasantly surprised by this bag which will very often replace my top case.
Russ R.
Perfect Touring bag! The large capacity and easy removal make for great storage on multi-day trips and easy carrying at the end of the day! There are numerous ways to secure to the bike and the added attachment points make it easy to customize. On this trip, rode hundreds of miles in dusty conditions and the bag rinsed off easily with no effect on the contents…. Sturdy, well made and worth the investment in quality gear!
Daniel H.
The 48l outlander is excellent quality! Very roomy and well designed. It works perfect for everything I carry for sleep, tent, sleeping bag, pillow, air mattress with space left over. It is light weight and water tight. I love this bag as I do all my Lonerider products.
Kelly D.
This is my second Overlander. I already have a 48L which has already traveled over 7,000-miles (11,000km+) on the back of my Triumph. I use the 48L for camping, along with my Moto-tent. I will be using this new 30L for trips where I travel between hotels and/or friend's homes. I really like how simple the bag can be attached to the bike yet still easily accessed when attached. I also appreciate the extra clips on the mounting straps. After removing the bag at the campsite, the extra clips provide a means to secure the straps so I can ride, while still making it easy to reattach the bag when needed. Only negative so far is that the 30L smelled like a cigarette ashtray when it arrived. It took about a week of soaking and rinsing with baking soda and water to get the smell out. I figure this was some minor error in the manufacturing or packaging process which I didn't mind dealing with. I will be purchasing another 48L to replace the old canvas duffel I currently use for hauling tools or groceries when I work or shop from my cycle. Basically, these bags meet expectations.
Tor Jørgen J.
Nice for day trips!

Overlander 30L. Perfect as a Topcase, not to big but big enough.

Mário V.
This overlander is absolutely perfect. I have 30 and 48 liters. Both are perfect.
Jay P.
Its pretty good. Spacious. Dust proof. Have yet to check the level of waterproof. One thing though, You might be kicking it in the corners while getting off the bike.
Azeddine M.
J’aime bien se sac multifonctions wow il servent comme une valise centrale de moto sac à dos sac de voyage il très efficace et compatible

Very happy to include this as part of my motorcycle gear.
Rugged and strong build, easy to install and remove from the bike as needed.
For me it had plenty space to store all my camping gear (including food prep tools).
Craig A.
Excellent bag, top quality like all the lone rider products.
Frank A.

Super sac, très étanche, tout est a porté de main
Mark M.
Took weeklong road trip with a few buddies. First run with the 48L. This bag is very easy to pack and I had plenty of room. It was very easy to mount and the bag remained stable both on and off road. I hosed it off with water only and it looked like new. Two other buddies have the same bag, they too seemed to like this bag. I highly recommend it.
Sheldon S.
Love this bag. Everything fits nicely in the bag. My only complaint is I feel the straps that are holding my bag to the bike will break at some point just because of the material.
Tom C.
Great bag at the right price!
Easily clips on and off the bike.
The air valve is useful when rolling up the top.
The semi-rigid liner makes this bag so useful. When the bag is open, the liner keeps the side from collapsing so that I can find my stuff easier.
I haven't gone down with the bag attached to the bike, but the material seems durable.
Peter R.
Very well built bag - I have yet to use it on a long trip but the few short rides I've done, it has performed well. If I had any complaints, its that the closing roll down top "flaps" are too tall, and it would be nice if the air valve would pass more air when rolling them down. If they were shorter, it wouldn't seem like such a chore every time you wan to grab something out of the Bag.
A very Minor complaint and its by no means a deal breaker - Id rather have that system as my previous bags used zippers and they wear out and break over time.
Keep up the great product ideas! And btw, LOVE the Moto tent!
Bruce M.
Not used in anger yet but looks great.
Benito Carlos S.
The Overlander 48, it's simply amazing, high quality, looks very well, I'm very happy with it. About Lone Rider service it's also very good, thanks from México :) !!!
Donna M.
The bag is roomy with lots of good features to help keep it organized.

Harley Davidson fully loaded with Lone Rider bags and ADV tent.
The Lone Rider products are superb and make touring easier.
Joshua D.
The best sized weekender! Great for commuting and an amazing camera gear bag as well. The build quality is second to none. The connection points are well designed and extremely versatile. Not only is Attention to detail is a priority for LoneRider but high quality craftsmanship is as well!
manny g.
This brand and products are the best.the team is so great.anna always replies to emails .love everything bout lone rider.
LUCA L.
OVERLANDER 30 LT. Perfect fit for my bike, excellent quality of materials, really functional and intelligent both the "beaver tail" and the molle system. It would be the TOP, in my opinion, if the external bottom of the bag was not smooth, but irregular to have more grip on the luggage rack.
Scott S.
The 48-liter Overlander bag holds all my camping equipment, plus the beavertail easily secures my MotoTent on top of the bag. Very happy and impressed with the quality and functionality of all the LoneRider products.
Giau S.
It‘s one of the best Bag that i ever owned.
it’s so practical that i use it as daily basic
a wonderful product you’d make there
marek s.
Very durable, good size,
Jeffrey W.
The overlander bag is unique. It can be adapted to fit nearly any bike with or without a rear rack. The construction is super solid and the mollie tabs allow for endless possibilities. If you are touring and you pack right, this can be a single overnight bag that can quickly detach and serve your overnight needs at a hotel or hostel. This reduces the amount of gear you need to carry in.
Carlos V.
Well designed and easy to attach.
luther e.
This bag fits perfectly on my ktm 890 adventure r

I waited for a good test run before writing my review of the Overlander 48, which was a 1,300 mile (2,000Km) circle tour of Lake Michigan. Second day was steady rain and everything in the bag stayed completely dry. Attaching the bag to the bike was confusing at first because the provided Molle straps and clips seemed too simple. Even with gusty winds on day four, the bag (and Moto Tent) stayed in place perfectly. I don't care for tank-bags, so I used the beaver tail to stash things by loosening/tightening a single strap. For reference, my bike (Sera) is a Triumph Tiger 900, and I had no difficulty attaching the bag and tent. Because I only hauled the bag short distances, I only used one of the shoulder straps, the other stayed home. My test run with the bag and tent worked out better than anticipated. My next run with this setup will be 5,000+ miles, and I may switch my hard cases to Lone Rider Moto Bags.
Franz S.
Great bag, easy to fix and use, all they state is fully true! Perfect size as it can be fixed across backseat with topcase in place, and the two 6l bags perfectly ontop of side paniers. Then on gravel roads I had them all together without the alu boxes over the back seat nd the top case plate, so when the bike was in the dirt they remained away from the ground and safe, butto pit the bike back up this arrangement was easy to remove with 4 clips. Love it!
Darren S.
Great quality bag. The air valve to let out the air when folding is awesome. Great thought to add it. Haven’t tested the waterproofness of it yet. The red inside makes it easy to find gear. Tons of additional tie downs. Can be tricky to mount but YouTube will help. They give you different straps so it’s easy to make it secure. And the straps can be left in the bike which is handy. Overall glad I bought it. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. No question this bag will take a beating & still be on my bike for years to come. Excellent quality.
Larbi B.
Practical, useful, strong
I am very satisfied
francisco nicanor C.
muy buena maleta; materiales de primera, tamaño etc. solo agregaria algunos detalles mas para poder montar diferentes accesorios.
Omar M.
para viajar no ocupe mas que mi maleta!!! sin problemas llegamos a buen destino!!!
Manfred H.
Have not used it yet, seems to be ok, not sure if it’s better than Kriga bags which I have used on many long and short trips.
My first impression ist that the bag is of good quality but the closing mechanism is somehow disordered resp. not firm and nicely closed!
Moisès F.
Excel·lent producte! Bons materials i molt fàcil d’utilitzar. Realment útil poder portar la bossa a l’esquena com una motxilla en cas de necessitat. Bona capacitat.
Rikard H.
Bra konstruktion.
Genomtänkt.
Men…
Jean-Maxime C.
Really high quality bag. It's perfect for my use, I chose the 30l because I know very well that I have a tendency to bring to much stuff since I don't have so much experience. The hypalon used in the fabrication of these bags is extremely resistant, it is used on high quality inflatable zodiacs because it also resist very well to UV. Thanks for the great design!
SCOTTO J.
Pas encore essayé, mais très bonne qualité volume impressionnant, avec toutes les attaches qu'il faut. Il va faire l'affaire c'est sûre, très satisfait de mon achat. Je le recommande
Matthew P.
Took a little while to ship, but the build quality is exceptional. I’m sure I’ll be using it for years to come in all kinds of weather.
Todd C.
So glad I got the 48 L instead of the 38 L
Richard A.
I looked at everything for my new GS and this seemed like the right choice for an everyday bag and something that will work as part of a full luggage set if I do that later. Anyway, it's really amazingly well-designed and made.
Klaus S.
easy assembly. with nearly 3kg a bit on the heavy-side of luggage rolls. the waterproof zippered pockets are smart. a option to attach wheelies would be great for traveling without the bike .
Teemu L.
The bag is really practical and very spacious. It is relatively easy to attach and the bag is good to carry. I recommend getting a 48L bag. It fits many motorcycles, especially adventure bikes.
