Absolut robust und praktisch und dicht! 14 Tage Balkan mit sämtlich vorstellbaren Wetterkapriolen ohne Probleme überstanden! Einzige Anmerkung: zusätzliche (integrierte Klemmbeleuchtung oder ähnliches wäre ideal, Licht in Zelt, Appartments, .... immer schlechter und wenn dann was gesucht werden muß --> nicht ganz einfach!

So I purchased my Lone Rider Overlander (48l) for a recent 2 week trip from Northern Ireland into and across Europe.
I initially was reluctant to spend the money before the trip asking myself if I really needed to as my Vario luggage had always done the job before.
Anyhow, money spent and bag purchased and I assure everyone I’m glad I did, this bag does everything it ‘said on the tin’. Build quality is excellent and it attaches to the bike very well. (Apart from the one time when I had a bit of a ‘senior moment’ set the bag on the bag and forgot to attach the clips, thank goodness for the extra recommended Steel Core cable )
Anyway if you’re in the market or considering this as a purchase I absolutely recommend.

Lone Rider makes some of the best gear I've ever used. I originally bought the Overlander 30, and have ridden thousands of miles with it in all kinds of weather. It's the perfect bag. The Overlander 48 is the perfect bag, just bigger.

I used the Lone Rider Overlander 48L on a recent trip and was seriously impressed. Not only did it survive airport customs, but it carried everything I needed for my trip- huge win for travel days. Mounting and dismounting it from my bike was a super easy thanks to the quick-release buckles. Off the bike, the removable backpack straps made it super easy to carry through terminals and around camp. The semi-rigid design and waterproof material kept everything protected. The valve to release air is a game changer, well done Lone Rider. Solid, versatile, and built for real adventure.

J’aurais juste une suggestion offrez les drapeaux du pays de l’acheteur cela ne vous coûte rien ou presque et permet en plus de mettre en avant votre sens commercial je les ai acheté sur amazon 2 pour 6 euros loin du prix que vous proposez sur votre site. Je ne manquerai pas tout de même de vous recommandez auprès de ma communauté chose déjà faite sur mon groupe Facebook Suzuki 800 DE et SE.

Ich habe den Overlander noch nicht am Motorrad befestigt. Das werde ich aber in den nächsten Tagen nachholen.
Aber ich habe ihn als Reisetasche für einen kleinen Ausflug mit dem Auto benutzt.
Ich kann nur sagen, er ist sehr praktisch, gut zu packen und durch die Tragegurte kann man den Overlander wie einen Rucksack tragen.
Ich habe mich für den 30 L Overlander entschieden, weil ich mit größeren Koffern und Topcase auf der kleinen BMW F750 GS schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht habe.
Ich denke mit dem Komplettpaket MotoBags, dem 30L Overlander und den MiniBags hat man genügend Stauraum für die Motorradreise mit oder ohne Zelt.

On the positive side, I loaded it up and went on a three day trip where it rained solid for two of the days. Bag kept everything nice and dry!
3 stars because the straps are too long (all of them, except the ones designed for molle attachment). The distance from bag attachment buckles to rack (Touratech on R1300GS) is maybe two inches, so I end up with most of the strap rolled up and all the buckles interfering with the straps. This makes it impossible to cinch tight enough and the two headed end of the strap (both male and female connector) just gets in the way. Again, not much space between rack and attachment buckle, and now have a useless buckle jammed in there as well. (Yes, I know its to "store" the straps, criss-crossing across the rack when the bag is not on. But seriously, due to length issues, its easier to just take the straps off. And the "off the bike" use case is not the reason I bought the bag). I don't think I'll ever use the backpack straps, so also kinda useless. Finally, the inner liner is so stiff that it reverts to curved, even when full, meaning the bag kinda rolls front to back when on the bike (agin, because the straps cannot be cinched tight enough due to limited space).

The overlander 48 is so well thought out! Everytime I use it, it impresses me as it has clearly been designed and influenced by real world applications.
From how easy it is to remove and fit, to the air valve to make sure it compresses down, the carry straps and the clip to lock it securely.
I am super happy with it and can't wait to test it some more!

The 30L Overlander seems absolutely perfect to me. Being able to quickly extract it and use it both across and across the bike seems like a great option. The inflation system and the MOLLE system are top-notch details, as are the finish and the rigid lower structure. It's amazing to be able to carry it with the handles like a backpack. Simply perfect in design and materials.

The outlander bag is awesome! I use it in the rear seat, between me and the top box, on my R1300GS Trophy. Straightforward installation, and it attaches firmly.

I really like the product, but havent used it on the road so far.
One thing I noticed is that it would be nice to be able to close the center buckle of the rolltop with one hand.
I am using both hands to roll the rolltop, and then one hand to prevent it from rolling off again.
The other hand is used to close the center buckle.
Closing the center buckle is a bit flimsy.
If you could place the female part of the center buckle more solid and pointing up (like on the edge) it would be easier to insert the male part by one hand.

It is a good product and shows good quality, but it takes a lot of time to open and close it.
It fits 2 helmets or a helmet and a jacket.
It's very easy to access it from the outside, even if you close it with the anti-theft lock as shown in the videos. So be sure never to put something valuable and easy to steal inside the bag.

Again, I can't say how much I am blown away by the built quality of these bags. The Overlander 48l bag has replaced my 90 duffle bag and I had space anxiety - but no need for that, I have got everything I usually put in my duffle bag in the Oerlander. The construction makes me use the space much better than a roll-up duffle. Love it!

Over 750 km along offroad tracks in my beautiful Sicily with my trusty 2002 Honda Transalp with over 110,000 km traveled! I brought with me the new waterproof bag from Lone rider, the Overlander Bag 30: roomy, sturdy, versatile, easily attached to the bike with practical straps. Practical both during the journey and at the end of the day to go to the hotel! Also practical to wash the bag directly with the pressure washer!

For over twenty years, I used a BMW Ortlieb Rack pack Roll bag. It had to have. A roll seal waterproof closure, And have a Ridgid, Base. And, Removable clip straps.
When I bought me new bike, I needed a new bag, After lots of research, I found this Lone rider bag. Its perfect, Ticks all the boxes, Initially, I struggled to mount it to the rea of the R130GSA, The straps that come with the bag were simply too short. So, I used two straps from the BMW bag, and it worked. How would I change it? The mounting positions are too high on the bag, When strapping, it crushes the bag. The straps clips on the bag, If only they had a lip on the top, so when closing the straps you can push together.
All in all. Great bag. It will get lots of use. Good job.
